| The Museum of Russian Icons is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. The Museum of Russian Icons was founded as a non-profit educational museum by Gordon Lankton. The collection includes about 340 Russian icons, the largest collection of its kind in North America. It is one of the largest private collections outside of Russia. The collection spans six centuries, and includes important historical icons dating from the earliest periods of icon painting up to the present. Summer Wednesday Nights at the Museum of Russian Icons Time: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Date: 06-18-2008 Description: On Wednesdays June 18, July 16, and August 20, the Museum of Russian Icons will stay open until 8 p.m. Explore the Museum and enjoy special "Spotlight Tours" of the collection with the Museum’s docents.
